Chiffon, navy, polka dots… need I say more?  Pure gorgeous right there (don’t get confused peeps, I’m talking about the clothes).

In my mind, this outfit is slightly nautical.  Although it doesn’t feature stripes, it certainly does use the navy, black and white present in most nautically themed outfits.  The blue and polka dots in the scarf bring a pop of colour and variety to this otherwise rather plain outfit.  It’s classy, with a bit of casual thrown in.  This top is rather simple, but divine.  The flowy chiffon sleeves add the dreaminess to this outfit… I’d really better stop, otherwise you could get me talking about chiffon for hours…

Moving on to accessories.  The necklace: bought from David Tasker Designer Jewellery.  You’ve probably seen that store name many times on this blog, well, it’s pretty much where I get all of my jewellery from as I know two people who work there.  It will probably be included in my favourite stores post (which will be coming up very soon…).  The belt: well I just like adding belts, they bring an outfit together and accentuate the waist.  That’s what flatters my figure, but if it’s not what flatters yours, then find something else.  Flowy scarves, large sleeves to add breadth to your shoulders, long tops and necklaces to lengthen the body, or perhaps heels.  Know what suits you, colours and style, and then you will feel confident in what you wear and how you present yourself.

While looking good on the outside is certainly not the most important thing in life, it does do wonders for your self-worth and increase your confidence in YOU!

I hope that you have an awesome week!  Happy Tuesday from down under under (after all, NZ is below Aussie right?) and we’ll talk soon.

I love statement necklaces, and this bird necklace is certainly one.  I really am not one to wear a load of them as I own very dainty silver necklaces as you can imagine, but when given the chance, I take it!

My goodness Christmas is coming up fast!  My awesome Grandma has already finished her Christmas shopping, while I haven’t even started yet!  How bout you guys?  Ready for this wonderful holiday season?
