Hello there! …and welcome to my little corner of the blogger world. I am an 18 year-old crafter who loves to work with my hands and create beautiful things from the world around me, whether it be in words, clothes or craft. Life is beautiful and so I’m determined to enjoy it and share a bit of my inspiration and findings on this blog, mostly in the form of fashion. From hair tutorials to daily outfits, I hope to empower and inspire you ladies of the world to dress in a stylish yet modest way. By modest, I’m not talking about throat-hugging collars, or floor length dresses, but clothing that draws the right kind of attention. You are all beautifully made, whether short, tall, big, small, brunette or blonde, and this blog is all about encouraging you to clothe yourselves in the best way for you – in a way that makes you feel confident and comfortable. So come take a peek and maybe you’ll find something in here for you.
I live in the beautifully lush country called New Zealand and absolutely love it here! Singing is a passion of mine and I hope to pursue that further one day… I love everything vintage and 50’s – fit and flare is where I’m at! I’m inspired by everything around me, sights, sounds, feelings and smells. I think Helen Keller put it well when she said, “I who am blind can only give one hint to you who can see. Use your eyes as if tomorrow you would go blind. Do the same with all your other senses. Hear the song of a bird as if tomorrow you would go deaf. Touch everything as if tomorrow you would never be able to touch anything again. Smell the flowers, taste every bit of food as if tomorrow you would never smell or taste again.” You probably think I’m a bit of an inspiration freak, but honestly, there is so much pain, sickness and death in the world, that to be able to look around and be grateful for the small things, is a blessing that we can all recognize. That leads me to my final, but most important statement. My greatest source of inspiration is God. Say what you will, think what you must, but the fact still remains – amid a stressful, fast-paced, changeable world, one thing remains strong and steady and that’s Jesus and the beauty, life and love that comes from Him.
