Archive for December, 2011

I’m sorry for the late post.  I’ve been busy as I’m sure you all have been with Christmas things.  I haven’t even finished my Christmas shopping yet, what about you?

The Christmas tree is up, school is finished and we are preparing our items for a Christmas Eve outreach/community event at our church.  It’s going well and I’ve found a pocket of time to post, but don’t you worry, there’ll be more.

I wear this outfit a lot, it’s perfect for church, outings and Christmas.  You’ll notice that the title is a very Christmas theme.  This outfit is not complicated, however very stylish.  You could wear any cardigan with this outfit, but I feel that a long cardigan, the same length as the tunic, matches nicely.

You can dress this outfit up to be elegant or casual.  In this outfit I am wearing black high heels, however, you could wear sandles with this outfit to dress it down for a sunny day out.

Enjoy the photos!

It’s all very summery isn’t it?!  I’m looking forward to the Christmas and holiday break.  I hope you enjoy your’s too!

Happy December everyone.  I am super excited for this month.  I have heaps of things that I’m looking forward to.

Christmas is definitely by far my favourite time of year, the festive spirit, the giving and receiving of presents, the amazing pine smell of the Christmas tree.  Gold, red and silver themed decorations, all of the pressies under the Christmas tree, my sister and I waking up in the morning and dancing around the Christmas tree singing All I Want for Christmas is You several times!  It’s great, I love shopping for others, all the parties and end of year things associated with Christmas and the start of summer, reading, holidays and etc.  What about you?  What are your favourite things about Christmas?

Well now that that little blurb is over, I’ll introduce this outfit!  I called it Candy Cane Colours, because I using the candy can colours… does that come as a surprise???  🙂  Actually, it’s more the feminine candy cane colours, cream and pink.  Hmm, but you tell me, do I look like a candy cane?

This is the first of my ‘feminine tunics’ that I mentioned in the last post.  I am wearing a cream tunic with a lace bodice and plain skirt and with it I have paired a lovely pink scarf with a long pearl necklace.  I am sure a lot of you will agree with me that long, fake pearl necklaces can often be a bit OTT, however in this case, hidden slightly by the scarf I think it works.  It is also a rather simple outfit, thus you can afford to go a bit all out in the accessories.  I’m also wearing a hot pink cardigan because we all love matching right?  You can buy these cardigans at Glassons for a good price in lots of different colours.  I recommend that you go there, as you can never do without a good cardigan for the summer.

And… without further ado, here are the photos taken by my lovely photographic friend.  We had a lot of fun with this photo shoot and it was a lovely day, however I do need to do a bit more research on poses… as I believe mine are getting a bit repetitive.

Welcome summer, please, you can’t come too soon!  Woohoo!  Summer just makes me so happy!  😛  And so does good news… 🙂

Enjoy your summer holidays (NZ folk) and Christmas holidays (all of ya’ll) and make sure you look out for our others posts!

Blessings,

Esther
